SB-34 Events at Jaxx

Jaxx proudly works with our brand partners to put on SB-34 events. Community is at the forefront of our mission, next to the accessibility of licensed cannabis. SB-34 events can serve a variety of communities that are using the power of plant products to heal and overcome. A medical card is required to participate in an SB-34 event. About Dennis V. Allen

Dennis V. Allen founded the San Diego Race Relations Society in 1924. The organization sought to end prejudice against racial, national, and religious groups. It was instrumental in pushing for desegregation in public spaces, as well as in challenging the denial of jobs because of religion, race, or color. Allen served as president of the society and helped expand employment opportunities for San Diego’s Black community

The Veterans Walk and Talk empowers Veterans with holistic care and we are proudly involved as a veteran-led company. More details about this group are, “Founded in 2016, VWAT has held space for veterans all over the country. Based in Southern California, with chapters in Sacramento as well as Oklahoma. Our mission is to empower veterans to take control of their health journey. Our tools are exercise, cannabis, psychedelics, and community. Self-reflection in a safe space has proven to alleviate many of the hardships veterans and their loved ones face. Walk and talk therapy coupled with wellness modalities equals a recipe for growth.”  This community has an open membership form to join the ongoing community events and activities and they strive to “Walk as much as possible"

Participating brands include St. Ides, Breez, Dr. May, CBX, Hiatus, PBR, Buddies, Kurvana, Kiva, Raw Garden, Nowadays, Ember Valley, HGVC, Claybourne, Battle Brothers, Grav, VFW post 7420 and the V-Wat.
